Test run listing views
Test run listing views
The project test run list shows the same runs in four views. The table stays available. List, cards, and timeline sit beside it.
Role: a team member who can see the project. Creating a run and changing a status require write access.
Prerequisites
A project is open and its test run list is available.
Steps
- Open the project.
- Open Test runs.
- Switch the view: Table, List, Cards, Timeline. Until a view is chosen, List opens. The last choice and its settings are stored in this browser for this listing, not separately per project.
- Search by identifier or name. The same search filters the table, the list, the cards, and the timeline. A filter you set on a table column stays in place.
- On Table, open Table view settings and use Fields to show or hide columns. That choice overrides the default hidden columns and is stored in this browser. Go to the run stays available.
- On List, Cards, or Timeline, open View settings for grouping and sort. List also has density and visible fields. Cards also have visible fields.
List
Comfortable density shows the status counts on their own line, across the row. Compact does not show that line. Until a density is saved, the list opens as Compact.
The eye opens a preview. Details opens the run page. While the preview waits for recent results, a loading indicator is shown.
Cards
A card shows the identifier and the name. Status, pass rate, bar, assignee, created date, and tags stay visible while the matching fields are on in view settings. The pass rate and the bar are shown when the run has result counts. A run with no results does not invent a rate.
Timeline
The scale is Days, Weeks, or Months. A bar runs from the created date to the completed date. A run that is not completed runs to today. A run with no created date is left off the scale. Runs that fall entirely outside the window are listed under the scale.
Selected rows
On Table, checked rows open an action bar in the header. Selected table rows
What is not on this list
There is no board. The results inside one run are not a second listing view. They are the list on the test run page.
