Autotest run listing views
Autotest run listing views
The project autotest run list shows the same runs in four views. The table stays available. List, cards, and timeline sit beside it.
Role: a team member who can see the project. Creating a run requires write access.
Prerequisites
A project is open and its autotest run list is available.
Steps
- Open the project.
- Open Autotest runs.
- Switch the view: Table, List, Cards, Timeline. Until a view is chosen, List opens. The last choice and its settings are stored in this browser for this listing, not separately per project.
- Search by identifier or name. The same search filters the table, the list, the cards, and the timeline. A filter you set on a table column stays in place.
- On Table, open View settings. The panel title is Table view settings, and the section is Fields: show or hide columns. That choice overrides the default hidden columns and is stored in this browser.
- On List, Cards, or Timeline, open View settings for grouping and sort. List also has density and visible fields. Cards also have visible fields. Timeline has grouping and sort only.
The default group is None. The other group is run status. List and cards sort by ID, descending by default. Timeline sorts by start date, ascending, by default.
List
Until a density is saved, the list opens as Compact: one line per run. Comfortable adds a second line for the execution context, starting domain, dates, and tags.
Description is hidden in the list fields by default.
The eye opens a preview. Details opens the run page. The preview lists every result of that run. A row shows the autotest name. If there is no name, the identifier remains. A loading indicator is shown while the list loads. The panel scrolls. Changing the view closes the preview. Drag the panel edge to change the width.
The pass rate and the bar are shown when the run has result counts. A run with no counts does not invent a rate. A status group header shows a summary from those same counts when they exist.
Cards
A card shows the identifier and the name. Status, pass rate, bar, execution context, starting domain, dates, and tags stay visible while the matching fields are on in view settings. The pass rate and the bar are drawn when result counts exist. When the counts exist and the case total is zero, the card says no cases.
Timeline
The scale is Days, Weeks, or Months. A bar runs from the start date to the finish date. A run with no finish date runs to today. A run with no start date is left off the scale.
The dashed legend item is labeled Not started: the run has no result counts, or those counts have zero cases. Colored segments are result statuses.
Runs that fall entirely outside the window are listed under the scale. Show moves the window to them. The eye opens the same preview as the list. Hovering a bar shows the dates, counts, context, and domain.
Selected rows
On Table, checked rows open an action bar in the header. Selected table rows
What is not on this list
There is no board. The results inside one run are not a second listing view. They are the list on the autotest run page.
