Autotest listing views ​

The project autotest list shows the same records in two views. The table stays as it was. List sits beside it.

Role: a team member who can see the project. Creating an autotest, a suite, or a run requires write access.

Steps ​

1. Open the project.
2. Open Autotests. The screen title is Autotest cases.
3. The suite tree is a panel on this page, not a separate application sidebar. It stays in place when you open an autotest and come back.
4. Collapse the panel to a rail, or expand it again. The choice is stored in this browser for autotests.
5. Switch the view: Table, List. Until a view is chosen, List opens. The last choice and its settings are stored in this browser for this listing, not separately per project.
6. Open View settings on List. On Table, open Table view settings and use Fields to show or hide columns. That choice is stored in this browser and overrides the default hidden columns.
7. Search by identifier or name narrows both the table and the list.

Suites panel ​

On List, View settings includes Suites panel: Left or Right. On Table the panel stays on the left.

Drag the inner edge of the expanded panel to change its width. The width is stored in this browser for autotests. A collapsed panel has no drag edge.

Select a suite to load its autotests. Create a suite from the panel. The new suite opens in the list.

List ​

View settings for List:

• Group. The default group is the autotest suite. You can also group by status, kind (CASE / COMMON), tag, or no group.
• Suites: Flat shows the full path in each group header. Nested indents child suites under the parent.
• Sort, density, and visible fields. A row can show tags, status, kind, and the created date.
• Preview width.

A row can open a preview beside the list. Drag the left edge of the preview to change the width. The width is saved for this view.

While steps are loading, the steps block shows the loading indicator. If there are no steps, the steps block is not drawn.

Check rows and click Autotest run. Run creation opens with those autotests already selected. With no rows checked, the button stays inactive. That action belongs to the List view.

On Table, checked rows open an action bar in the header. Selected table rows
