Select text (selectText) ​

Selects the text inside the Target.

Step model ​

Target/Value facts match the source-of-truth catalog and Autotest step.

Steps ​

1. Add a selectText step.
2. Set Target.
3. Leave Value empty.
4. Save.

The step is stored on the autotest. Next - neighbouring steps or autotest run creation.

Common mistakes ​

• The step selects the element text. It does not pick a list option. Use selectOption for a list.
