Adding test cases to a test run ​

Adding test cases to a test run includes more cases from the project catalog in an existing cycle without creating a second run.

Role: a team member with write access to the project.

Steps ​

1. Open the test run details.
2. Open Add test cases.
3. Select the cases to include from the same project.
4. Confirm.

New test run result rows are created in status PENDING. If the run has Assigned to, that value is applied to the new results.

A case that is already in the run is skipped. A second result row is not created.

Limits and notes ​

• Select test cases from the same project as the test run.
• Adding a case creates a test run result. It does not copy or move the test case.
• Deleting the source test case later removes its results from all test runs. The test runs stay.
