Test run creation ​

Test run creation starts a new manual execution cycle for selected test cases in a project. Creating the run also creates a test run result for each included case so outcomes can be recorded later.

Steps ​

1. Open Test runs in the project.
2. Click Create.
3. Enter the Name and optional Description.
4. Choose cases: a list of test cases, ALL for every case in the project, or leave the selection empty so the product includes all project cases.
5. Optional: set Assigned to for the run. New results inherit that assignee when cases are added now or later.
6. Confirm.

Each selected case gets a test run result in status PENDING. The run is ready for Test run execution.
