2026-10-05 - TestRail import: fields, properties, and where data goes
TestRail import now brings case and result custom fields and shows on the job page where to read the data.
Added
- Migration from TestRail copies the case type and case custom fields into the team's custom properties. The value is on the test case card.
- When runs are included, the comment, Defects, Version, and Elapsed are written on the test run result. Open the result inside the test run. There is no separate result list.
- The job page explains where each kind of data goes, adds a Where column, and lists the properties this import created.
Changed
- A TestRail case estimate is stored as execution time in minutes, not seconds. Elapsed on the result stays in seconds.
Fixed
- An empty TestRail project announcement no longer stops the import while creating the ComplexQA project.
