2026-07-22 - TestRail migration
Import TestRail projects into Complex QA over the API: background jobs, progress, and a new project per import.
Added
- TestRail migration - team administrators can import a TestRail project on the team subdomain at
/migrations/{locale}. - Connect with TestRail base URL, email, and API key (or password); pick a TestRail project; start a background import.
- Import creates a new Complex QA project and transfers suites, sections, cases, steps, and optionally runs and results.
- Job controls: pause, resume, cancel; progress counters and recent failures; duplicate protection so a resumed import skips already imported entities.
- Access limited to team administrators; other roles see an explicit access denied message (EN/RU).
- Steps from TestRail stay text-oriented: Complex QA structured fields such as
step_elementandstep_element_actionare not filled in this release. Attachments, shared steps, and plans are not imported yet. - User documentation - Migrating from TestRail.
